This Caribbean hotel is located in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico, near beautiful, sun-soaked beaches. This coastal town is approximately 110 km. south of Cancun Airport, with an estimated travel time of 1 ½ hours.
To get to Om Tulum Hotel, head south on Highway 307 toward Playa del Carmen (approx. 50 km. south of Cancun Airport). Once in Tulum, take a left (toward the beach) at the second light. Here you’ll pass the fire station on your left and come to a T in the road. A local police station should be at your left. Take a right at the T and drive for about 5 km. more. You will then see our hotel sign on your left.
Tulum is a famous tourist destination in Quintana Roo, drawing crowds of holidaymakers and adventurers to its shimmering white-sand beaches and Mayan ruins. The archaeological sites are actually among the most popular of all Mayan ruins in the Riviera Maya tourist corridor. Another known attraction are the cenotes. These freshwater pools are steeped not just in natural beauty, but also in history, having been used in Mayan rituals.
From Cancun
Tulum, Mexico is located approximately 110 kilometers south of the Cancun Airport, and it takes about an hour and a half to drive there from the airport to the town of Tulum. Head south on Highway 307 towards Playa del Carmen (which is approximately 50 kilometers south of the Cancun airport). Once in Tulum go to the second light and take a left towards the beach (if you took a right you would be heading towards the Coba ruins). Go towards the beach and pass the local fire station on your left and you will then come to a T in the road with a local police station on your left. Take a right at the T and go approximately 5 kilometers, and you will see the sign for Om Tulum Hotel Cabanas and Beach Club on your left hand side.
